Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to innovative projects in synthetic biology and protein design
- Design and construct diverse DNA libraries for protein engineering
- Develop and execute high-throughput screening assays
- Lead phage display-based discovery workflows
- Analyze results from massively parallel in vivo screens
- Work cross-functionally with computational and experimental teams
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Master’s or PhD in molecular biology, bioengineering, or related field
- Strong experience in molecular biology techniques
- Hands-on expertise in phage display approaches
- Proven experience in library-based protein engineering
- Ability to design and execute complex experiments end-to-end
- Experience in biotech, pharma, or startup environments
- Familiarity with yeast or ribosome display technologies
- Experience with Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS)
- Exposure to CRISPR screens, DMS, MPRA, or single-cell sequencing
- Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
- Experience working with animal tissues or BBB transport technologies
- Passion for solving biological problems through experimentation
