Apply as Bioinformatics Developer at Precision Phage
PrecisionPhage is seeking a mid-level or senior developer to join its bioinformatics division. The selected candidate will participate in the creation and maintenance of modern GxP-level genomics software applicable to the phage field. Applicants should be able to work remotely or hybrid. They should actively participate in developing new functionalities for SaaS phage bioinformatics solutions, mixing algorithms and pipelines with third-party tools.
The candidate must be capable of writing tests, benchmarking Precision Phage software, and maintaining the existing codebase. The candidate is expected to have extensive experience with Python (or other languages) and be willing to transfer skills to Python, as well can write clean, maintainable code. Experience with Unix environments and with version control (Git) is desired.
