PrecisionPhage is seeking a Chief Business Officer (CBO) to lead its commercial strategy, revenue growth, and global expansion. As the company enters a new phase of growth, this C-level leadership role will play a critical part in scaling operations, building strategic partnerships, and shaping the future of a biotech company operating at the intersection of bioinformatics, biologics production, and SaaS platforms. Location: Jyväskylä / Turku, Finland.
PrecisionPhage develops GMP-level bioinformatics software and laboratory services for biologics production and R&D. The company operates both SaaS platforms and laboratory services, with a growing international customer base and a phage lab in Finland.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive revenue growth and commercial strategy
- Develop and execute scalable go-to-market strategies
- Build and lead the sales and marketing organization
- Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships and collaborations
- Design and implement repeatable commercial processes and infrastructure
- Establish scalable contractual frameworks and governance models
- Translate complex scientific and regulatory requirements into business opportunities
- Collaborate with technical, regulatory, and quality teams to ensure compliance-aligned commercialization.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Proven experience driving commercial growth in biotech, life sciences, or SaaS
- Strong expertise in partnership development and negotiations
- Demonstrated ability to scale commercial operations in growth-stage companies
- Ability to understand and translate technical and regulatory concepts
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on leadership approach
- Strong organizational, strategic, and execution skills
