Gables is seeking an experienced Senior Scientist – Phage Display & Antibody Discovery to join its expanding Antibody Engineering group in Rockville, Maryland, USA. The selected scientist will contribute to the development of advanced antibody discovery technologies by combining experimental and computational approaches.
This role goes beyond traditional screening workflows, focusing on innovation, platform expansion, and technology development.
Key Responsibilities
- Next-Generation Phage Display Development
- Antibody Engineering & Data-Driven Discovery
- Challenging Target Discovery
- Structure-Guided Antibody Engineering
- Collaborate closely with structural biology teams using: Cryo-Electron Microscopy (Cryo-EM), X-ray crystallography, Molecular dynamics simulations
- AI & Computational Antibody Design
Qualifications & Skills Required
- PhD in Molecular Biology or related discipline
- Strong expertise in advanced phage display technologies
- Experience in method development and technology innovation
- Interest in bridging experimental and computational antibody engineering
- Strong scientific publication record
- Innovation-driven research mindset
- Experience in structure-guided therapeutic discovery
- Knowledge of computational protein engineering tools
