Opportunity as Assistant Professor at Montana State University
| The Assistant Research Professor will lead innovative research focusing on microbial physiology, bacteriophage biology, and microbe–host interactions. The Department of Microbiology & Cell Biology (MCB) is part of the College of Agriculture and the Montana Agricultural Experiment Station (MAES). The Faculty will participate in both the WWAMI Medical Education Program and the WIMU Regional Program in Veterinary Medicine. Duties include developing and conducting research in microbiology, microbial physiology, and microbe–host dynamics. The position involves leading mechanistic studies on bacterial communities and bacteriophages in animal hosts, utilizing molecular, genetic, cellular, and imaging techniques. Required qualifications include a PhD or equivalent in Microbiology, Molecular Biology and or Biochemistry. |
