Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement experimental protocols in microbiome and symbiosis research
- Conduct research using Drosophila melanogaster models
- Perform genetic editing and transgenic expression techniques
- Carry out reproductive tissue dissections and fitness assays
- Utilize fluorescent and electron microscopy for analysis
- Maintain laboratory insect colonies and ensure proper lab operations
- Manage hazardous materials and biological waste safely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support ongoing research projects
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field Strong
