The position focuses on executing high-throughput workflows involving mammalian cell culture, transient transfections, and flow cytometry-based screening to characterize antibody candidates. The scientist will play a critical role in supporting antibody discovery pipelines by generating and analyzing high-quality experimental data that guide therapeutic antibody selection and optimization.

Ker Responsibilities

  • Execute high-throughput protein expression workflows to characterize antibody samples.
  • Perform flow cytometry-based assays for evaluating antibody binding and cell surface marker expression.
  • Express antibodies in mammalian cell systems to support screening campaigns.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data to support antibody selection and optimization strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize protocols to improve experimental accuracy, reproducibility, and throughput.
  • Maintain accurate experimental documentation using electronic lab notebooks.
  • Present findings and contribute to internal research discussions.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related life sciences with 5+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with flow cytometry.
  • Strong experience in mammalian cell culture, including adherent and suspension immortalized cell lines such as Expi293 and HEK293T.
  • Proven experience performing transient transfections in mammalian cell systems.
  • Experience working in high-throughput experimental workflows is highly desirable.
  • Experience in the Automation platforms and liquid handling systems. would be considered advantageous
  • Next-generation sequencing technologies, including Illumina or 10X sequencing platforms.
