KisoJi Biotechnology is hiring a Senior Research Associate – Phage Display to join its growing antibody discovery team in Toronto. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals in phage display, antibody engineering, molecular biology, and biologics drug discovery.

KisoJi Biotechnology is a therapeutic antibody company developing mono-specific and multi-specific antibody therapeutics using its proprietary transgenic mouse platform for generating heavy chain-only antibodies (HCAbs). The company is focused on advancing novel antibody medicines with strong clinical and commercial potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute phage display panning experiments
  • Screen phages for target binding (PE-ELISA)
  • Clone phage display antibody libraries
  • Generate amplicon libraries for NGS analysis
  • Troubleshoot workflows and optimize methods
  • Develop new technologies for project advancement
  • Prepare reports and present scientific findings
  • Assist with SOP development
  • Provide technical leadership in molecular biology methods
  • Participate in project and departmental meetings

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • M.Sc. in Immunology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related field
  • 6+ years of industry experience or 3+ years in antibody discovery
  • Strong experience in: Phage display, Biopanning, Phagemid library cloning
  • DNA extraction (mini/midi/maxiprep)
  • Experience in Sanger sequencing analysis
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada
  • Experience in ELISA SDS-PAGE, Flow Cytometry, Antibody characterization, Broader biologics discovery experience.
