Senior Research Technician (Phage Research) at University of Warwick
The University of Warwick is hiring a Senior Research Technician for an exciting bacteriophage-bacteria-plant interaction project within the School of Life Sciences. The successful candidate will join Dr Mojgan Rabiey’s research group to study the complex interactions between bacteriophages, bacteria, and plants.
The project aims to improve understanding of how phages can be used as biocontrol agents against crop diseases, helping develop sustainable alternatives to chemical pesticides. This is a rare opportunity to work directly in applied phage research for agriculture, a rapidly growing area of sustainable science. Phage-based crop protection has strong potential to reduce dependence on antibiotics and pesticides globally.
