The group\u2019s research aims to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enable precise genetic isolation of organisms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dissect host\u2013pathogen interactions at the genome scale<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build platforms for large-vector assembly toward gigabase-scale genome synthesis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This work sits at the forefront of synthetic genomics, engineering biology, and host\u2013microbe interactions, with strong potential for both fundamental discovery and translational impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Position Summary<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Generative Biology Institute is seeking a highly motivated <a href=\"https:\/\/thephage.xyz\/jobs\/?s=post+doc&amp;post_type=job\/jobs\/?s=post+doc&amp;post_type=job\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Postdoctoral Researcher\">Postdoctoral Researcher<\/a> to join the Z\u00fcrcher Group. This position is ideal for researchers aiming to develop independent research directions while contributing to ambitious, large-scale genome engineering efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The postdoc will take a leading role in experimental design and execution, data analysis, and method development, while collaborating closely with researchers across GBI.
