The position focuses on executing high-throughput workflows involving mammalian cell culture, transient transfections, and flow cytometry-based screening to characterize antibody candidates. The scientist will play a critical role in supporting antibody discovery pipelines by generating and analyzing high-quality experimental data that guide therapeutic antibody selection and optimization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ker Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Execute high-throughput protein expression workflows to characterize antibody samples.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform flow cytometry-based assays for evaluating antibody binding and cell surface marker expression.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Express antibodies in mammalian cell systems to support screening campaigns.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analyze and interpret experimental data to support antibody selection and optimization strategies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Troubleshoot and optimize protocols to improve experimental accuracy, reproducibility, and throughput.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain accurate experimental documentation using electronic lab notebooks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Present findings and contribute to internal research discussions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications &amp; Skills Required <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related life sciences with 5+ years of experience, or Master\u2019s degree with 3+ years of relevant laboratory experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with flow cytometry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong experience in mammalian cell culture, including adherent and suspension immortalized cell lines such as Expi293 and HEK293T.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven experience performing transient transfections in mammalian cell systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience working in high-throughput experimental workflows is highly desirable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in the Automation platforms and liquid handling systems. would be considered advantageous<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Next-generation sequencing technologies, including Illumina or 10X sequencing platforms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High-throughput protein purification technologies: Cytiva AKTA, Agilent HPLC, Octet BLI, Carterra SPR.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Antibody display technologies including mammalian display, yeast display, or phage display systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience documenting experiments using electronic lab notebook platforms such as Benchling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For more phage-based industry openings, check <a href=\"https:\/\/thephage.xyz\/jobs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"here\">here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This job post was originally curated by <a href=\"https:\/\/thephage.xyz\/jobs\">www.thephage.xyz\/jobs<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior Research Associate \/ Associate Scientist \u2013 Antibody Screening and Display, offering scientists the chance to contribute to innovative antibody discovery programs aimed at identifying next-generation therapeutic candidates.
