The role supports a two-year externally funded research project focused on developing phage-based therapies for biofilm-associated bacterial infections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The research programme investigates how <em>Escherichia coli<\/em> responds to antibiotic and bacteriophage treatments, contributing to the global effort to combat antimicrobial resistance.
