Cedent, a biotech company leveraging advanced machine learning and large-scale biological approaches to accelerate antibody discovery is recruiting for a Senior Research Associate/Associate Scientist to support its antibody screening and display efforts.

The role contributes to a multidisciplinary team focused on improving therapeutic antibody identification through high-throughput experimental and analytical workflows. The selected candidate will report to a senior scientist and assist with cell-based assays and screening pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform high-throughput protein expression and antibody characterization workflows
• Support antibody discovery using mammalian cell culture systems and transient transfection techniques
• Carry out flow cytometry-based screening and sample analysis
• Analyze experimental data and present findings to guide antibody selection
• Troubleshoot and optimize protocols to improve efficiency and reproducibility
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and communicate results within the team

Qualifications & Skills Required:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field with relevant experience
• Strong hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture (e.g., HEK293/Expi293 systems)
• Proficiency in transient transfection methods
• Solid experience using flow cytometry for experimental analysis
• Familiarity with antibody screening or display workflows is an advantage
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with electronic lab notebooks and clear scientific communication
