Develop data-driven ML/AI strategies to address current bottlenecks in phage therapy development and deployment, enabling their full potential. Design models that integrate heterogeneous biological data to help answer complex biological questions, contributing additional expertise in phage research. The objectives of this PhD include phenotype prediction, host identification, and phage optimization.

The candidates are required to have a background in machine learning, data science, bioinformatics, or microbiology and a passion for computing and statistical modelling/ML.
